René Tilsley is the owner and founder of Bridges Behavior and Education Consulting. René holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
René has over 18 years of experience working with individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, and various forms of trauma. She has worked with ages 2 through adulthood in home, clinic, and school settings. René has over 14 years of experience working in public and private schools. Her passion is helping teachers feel confident in their ability to manage challenging behaviors and making behavior analytic strategies manageable in generalized settings.
As the mother of an adult with Autism, she has personal experience with the challenges families face throughout their children’s educational journey. Her own son’s struggles with serious behaviors at school and her reliance on both ABA providers and school professionals together has contributed to her passion for a collaborative approach.
