Bridges Behavior and Education Consulting is committed to partnering with schools, teachers, service providers, and families to make behavior analytic services and interventions accessible in our children’s everyday lives. Through prioritizing generalization it is possible to teach life long skills that improve quality of life for individuals and families, contribute to an inclusive culture within our community, and bridge the learning gap between school and therapy settings. Bridges seeks to prepare teachers  for a variety of challenging behaviors in the classroom through use of evidence-based strategies that can be simplified and adapted to the needs in their classroom. 

Behavior analytic interventions should be simplified in order to be maintainable within a learner’s day to day life. If mom, dad, grandma, teacher, or friend can not utilize the strategy it is not likely to produce socially significant change.

Ms. Tilsley brings a wealth of experience as a behavior specialist.  During her time with our district she excelled at supporting our Counseling Enriched Programs (for students with emotional disturbance), Autism Programs, and Independent Living Skills Programs.  Additionally, Ms. Tilsley supported the implementation of PBIS at our school sites and she did this by supporting staff and students individually and by providing training on Tier I and Tier II interventions, De-escalation strategies, Developing and Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, and so much more.  Ms. Tilsley customized her training for her target audiences which included teachers, principals, playground supervisors, instructional aides and related services staff.
